Daniel Wright has today joined Evo-Stik North side South Shields on a 28-day loan.
The midfielder was on target for Sunderland under-23s twice last weekend as they defeated Derby County in the Premier League 2 at Eppleton Colliery Welfare.
Wright, who has represented England at three youth levels, links up with the Mariners who are currently top of their league.
