SPOTLIGHT: Leicester under-23 head coach, Steve Beaglehole

Steve Beaglehole joined Leicester City firstly in October 2000 and then again in August 2007 as joint caretaker manager.

His managerial career started in 1991, when he was manager of Doncaster Rovers for two years before later joining the Foxes in 2000 as an academy coach.

Moves to Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest and Leeds United followed before he returned to the King Power in 2007 to take up the joint first-team manager role.

Since then he has gone on to manage Northern Ireland’s under-19s and under-21s, alongside his new role as senior professional development coach at Leicester City.

KEY BATTLE - Admiral Muskwe v Sam Brotherton

Last season saw Admiral Muskwe hit double figures for Leicester City under-18s, including scintillating back-to-back hat-tricks. Having featured in the first-team pre-season, Muskwe has a fine pedigree despite scoring just three times this season.

However, one of those goals came against the Black Cats in August 2016, and the powerful centre forward displayed all the qualities of a top talent that night.

Sunderland, meanwhile, have managed just two clean sheets in their six matches in all competitions, so defender Sam Brotherton will have his work cut out on Sunday if he is to keep Muskwe quiet.
