Sunderland under-18s will face Chelsea in the quarter-finals of the Premier League Cup next month.
Mark Atkinson’s youth team have been drawn at home to the West London club after finishing as runners up in group D behind Liverpool.
Chelsea will travel to the Academy of Light on Saturday 27 January for an 11am kick-off.
The young Black Cats advanced to the knockout stages after defeating Middlesbrough and West Ham United, while Chelsea topped group B, with seven points from a possible nine.
