Partnership Sales Manager  

Full Time (40 hours)

 

Sunderland AFC are looking to a Partnership Sales Manager to join our team, who will help to drive the partnership strategy of SAFC and be responsible for securing new Regional and National partners.

 

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

 

  • To Lead on SAFC’s Partnership Acquisition strategy
  • To manage the partnership sales process within SAFC.
  • To manage, and lead, the partnership sales team
  • To generate new partners for SAFC through a structured method of partnership acquisition.
  • Ability to generate leads through effective category management, our CRM tools, and data management.
  • The ability to plan, and research, potential l partnership opportunities
  • Have a strong understanding of the regional partnership market, and current trends.
  • Generate and convert leads within planned, targeted business sectors and geographical areas.
  • The role will require the ability to understand each potential partners bespoke business objectives and created tailored bespoke partnerships based on these.
  • Preparation of partnership proposals
  • Excellent presentation/communication skills
  • The Partnership Sales Manager will work with internal stakeholders to shape an efficient and effective partnership sales strategy for SAFC.
  • Follow standard operating procedures as set by the Club.
  • Ability to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPI’s
  • Understand and comply with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) at all times
  • Coordinate all partner events across the season with the support of the events team.

The position is full time (40 hours per week), the availability to work flexible is essential to suit business needs. Additionally, you may be required to work all home fixtures and special events unless previously agreed with your manager.
