Sunderland AFC have started their League One campaign in style, remaining unbeaten on home soil.
Supporters have witnessed a plethora of goals, saves and victories as Jack Ross’ Sunderland revolution gathers momentum and over 23,000 season cards have been sold to date. Stadium of Light attendances are also regularly in excess of 30,000, higher than some teams in the top flight of English football.
With the all-important season run-in approaching, supporters who haven’t bought a season card yet can still secure their seat for some of the biggest games of the campaign with the launch of the 12-game season card. Starting on Boxing Day with the showpiece festive fixture against Bradford, the package includes all the remaining league games until the end of the season, providing the perfect Christmas gift for any Sunderland supporter.
Manager Jack Ross said: “It was always my aim to give supporters a team they could be proud of and relate to - one that truly cared about the club, took pride in the shirt and gave their all on the pitch. Anyone who has been to our games can see the desire and spirit amongst this group of players and our fans have played a hugely important part in us being able to build that.
“The support we have had at the Stadium of Light has been nothing short of phenomenal. It is a fantastic arena to play and watch football in. Everyone wants to be part of a winning team, whether that’s players or supporters and to see the bond that is growing between them is something special.
“We have started the campaign well and it is important it is to carry that momentum into the second half of the season, so we need as many supporters behind us as possible. We are stronger together.”
With some of the best-value-for-money seats in football, young supporters aged under 16 can buy their seat for only £40 – that’s just over £3 per game. An adult 12-game season card is available from only £199, with over 65s seats available from £149 and under 22s from £110.
A special concession price for under 18s has been introduced this season, meaning they can buy a 12-game season card for only £50, saving almost £100 on buying tickets for individual games. Season card holders also receive priority access to away match tickets.
The 12-game season card is on sale now and available until December 24. Please note the rescheduled Blackpool game on Tuesday 12 February is not included, but can be purchased seperately at a discounted price.
