We are delighted to announce that Ajay Brickwork will be our match sponsor for the River Wear Derby against Durham Women.
The bricklaying company, formed in 2015, has over 100 bricklayers along with 12 apprentices and nine staff, working for numerous house building companies across the region.
The company are also the sponsors of Lasses defender Grace McCatty and Men’s striker Luis Hemir.
On sponsoring the game, a company spokesperson said: “This season, one of our directors has been to several games to support the women and didn’t have to think twice about sponsoring this local derby with the added significance of the team on the verge of promotion to the Women’s Super League.
“Whatever the outcome, these women have had a season to be proud of and all of us at Ajay Brickwork will continue to follow.”
