Emily Scarr has been awarded the Barclays Women’s Championship Player of the Month award for January.
The Sunderland forward scored a brace in the Lasses’ 3-0 home victory over Sheffield United, and followed that up a week later with a goal on the road against Blackburn as the Black Cats won 2-0.
