Preview: Lasses travel to Charlton

Sunderland Women make the trip to the Oakwood to face Charlton Athletic Women in the Barclays Women’s Championship on Sunday (KO 12pm).

 

The Lasses drew 1-1 last time out against Sheffield United Women at Eppleton, with Abbey Joice scoring a second-half equaliser.

 

The fixture falls on Women’s Football Weekend. The game last season saw Mel Reay’s side earn a 1-1 draw away at Watford.
