Sunderland AFC Women today confirmed its retained list for the 2023-24 season.
Following the conclusion of her existing contract, Abby Holmes has been offered a new deal to remain at the Club.
Emma Kelly will depart after two seasons back on Wearside, while Neve Herron leaves after four seasons in the senior team. Danielle Brown leaves to pursue an opportunity overseas, with Brenna McPartlan, Nicki Gears, Tyler Dodds, Allison Cowling and Abby Towers also departing at the end of their respective contracts.
After nine unforgettable years wearing red and white, Abbey Joice has also hung up her boots and brought an end to her tenure at the Club.
