Sunderland AFC Ladies are delighted to announce the return of Grace Boyes to the club.
The left-back makes a comeback on Wearside after spells with Alnwick and Middlesbrough, following her initial spell progressing through the Sunderland RTC.
Upon returning to the club, Boyes said: "I'm so glad to be back at Sunderland, it's where I started my football journey.
"This club is where I've always wanted to be to help push and develop my career.
"I'm excited to get started and train with all the girls here."
Ladies Head Coach Reay added: "We're delighted to bring Grace back to the club. She is a very welcome addition to the squad.
"She is one of several players to have come through our RTC and has battled back well from an ACL injury.
"It's great to see her back here in red and white stripes."
Boyes will wear the number three shirt for the Lasses, and goes straight into Mel Reay's squad for Sunday's visit to Lewes Women.
