Jack Ross’ side will entertain Rochdale at the Stadium of Light next Saturday, kick-off 3pm, for the first ever league meeting between the two sides.
Having previously met in the Checkatrade Trophy in 2016, Sunderland will host Rochdale on Wearside for the first time in the club’s history.
Tickets are priced from £20 for adults and just £7.50 for under 16s.
Tickets for Sunderland's next home match against Peterborough United will also be on sale from Monday.
Steve Evan's side head to Wearside on Tuesday 2 October, kick-off 7.45pm, and adult tickets will be available for £18 while over 65s' will cost £15 and under-22s, £10.
