Jack Ross’ Sunderland side has enjoyed back to back home league victories, in one of the club’s best starts to a season in recent memory.
Almost 22,000 season cards were sold before a ball was kicked and attendances have reached over 30,000 at the Stadium of Light. Black Cats fans are turning up in huge numbers to get behind the new-look side and with that is mind, the club is offering fans a chance to secure their seat for every league game, with the launch of a special 18-game season card.
Starting on Tuesday 2 October, when Peterborough United are the visitors to the Stadium of Light, the season card includes all remaining league games until the end of the season.
Chairman Stewart Donald said: “It has been a great start to the season for us. To see fans enjoying coming to games and going home happy has been fantastic and I want to thank everyone for getting behind the team in such huge numbers. We know there is a long way to go, both on and off the field, but we are making positive progress and I genuinely think that we are building something very special here.
“I know some fans may have been skeptical over the summer when we first arrived at the club, but I hope now they can see what we are trying to achieve. We want as many people as possible to be part of the club’s renaissance and by introducing the new 18-game season card fans can sign up for the rest of the season and save some money at the same time.
Continuing the club’s commitment to fan-friendly pricing, an adult can secure their seat for all 18 games from £295, with under 16s just £60.
A special concession price for under 18s was introduced in the summer, meaning they can now buy an 18-game season card for £70. Over 65s seats are available from £220 and under 22s from £160.
The Family Zone offers fantastic value with an adult and under 16 package just £315.
