Sunderland AFC is delighted to announce 2018-19 season card sales have surpassed the 20,000 mark.
Just two weeks ago, chairman Stewart Donald threw down the gauntlet to the red and white army and challenged them to snap up 20,000 season cards ahead of the June 22 deadline.
They came. They saw. They conquered.
Over 3,000 supporters have joined the masses ahead of the new campaign, and as a reward all season card holders will have priority ticketing access to the club’s pre-season fixtures.
Season cards remain on sale at the discounted rate, and including a three-year price freeze, until June 22.
And after seeing the club’s loyal supporters smash the initial target with two weeks to spare, executive director Charlie Methven has now challenged the red and white army to surpass last season’s sales of 21,600.
“This is the start of something incredibly exciting,” he said.
“Stewart and I have been blown away by the support shown towards the club since our arrival and we will reward it wherever we can.”
He continued: “As such, season card holders will have priority access to our pre-season games which will be confirmed next week.
“Surpassing the 20,000 mark is a testament to the supporters’ loyalty, but there’s plenty of gas left in this tank and we now want to exceed last season’s total.
“The new era is well underway, but we’re not done yet.”
HOW TO BUY
The easiest way to buy or renew a season card is via the online box office.
If supporters already have an online customer account with the club, then they need to simply log in using the link below and click on 'Season Cards' in the main menu.
Alternatively, if they do not have an account, they can use the ‘Register’ link below to sign up.

To buy using a cheque, supporters should complete and return this season card form in an envelope, enclosing payment.
To pay with cash, they should visit the Stadium of Light ticket office in person.
