Award: Trai Hume collects Northern Ireland Player of the Year Award

Trai Hume has received his award for Northern Ireland's Player of the Year for 2023.

Hume was handed the trophy by Club captain and fellow NI international Corry Evans at the Acacemy of Light.

The 21-year-old was handed the accolade as a result of a public vote following a year where he received eight caps for his country.

The full-back will head out on international duty over the next fornight once again for upcoming friendlies against Romania and Scotland.

Interim Head Coach Mike Dodds said: "If he carries on the path he is going to, Trai is going to the Premier League. That's how good I think he is.

"When you think of full-backs in this league, Trai would definitely be one of the best if not the best full-backs in the league and I don't there will be many arguments over that.

"To come from Linfield to where he is now, he has been an unbelievable find for the football club and he has a big future in the game."
