Sunderland AFC’s Luke O’Nien will be available for selection when Jack Ross’ side travel to Accrington Stanley on Saturday 14 September.
Following a successful appeal to the Football Association, O’Nien’s suspension has been withdrawn with immediate effect after a claim of wrongful dismissal was upheld by an Independent Regulatory Commission.
The 24-year-old was sent off for violent conduct during Sunderland's EFL League One fixture at Peterborough United on Saturday.
