Phil Parkinson was unveiled to the media today as Sunderland AFC’s new manager at the Academy of Light. 

The 51-year-old has replaced Jack Ross at the helm and joins the club having managed over 700 games in the Football League.

With no fewer than three promotions on his CV, the former Bradford City and Bolton Wanderers boss outlined his plans to the press ahead of Saturday’s first test at Wycombe Wanderers.
