Sunderland AFC is delighted to announce that Nick Allamby has joined Phil Parkinson’s backroom team.
Allamby arrives from Bolton Wanderers following a three-year spell in Lancashire, having also worked alongside Steve Parkin and Lee Butler at the University of Bolton Stadium.
After studying at the University of Teesside, he spent nine years at Middlesbrough, undertaking various roles including head of fitness and conditioning.
Allamby then joined Bradford City in 2011, working alongside Parkinson as the Bantams’ head of sports performance.
He will undertake the role of physical performance coach.
