Sunderland will travel to Accrington Stanley in round one of the 2019-20 Carabao Cup.
The game will take place at the Wham Stadium and is scheduled to take place in the week commencing 12 August.
The trip comes just days after the Black Cats travel to Ipswich Town for their opening away game of the Sky Bet League One season, a week after kicking things off at home to Oxford United.
