Jack Ross cut a frustrated figure once more as he reflected on Sunderland’s third draw in six days.

The Black Cats showed plenty of fight and character, however, as they clawed themselves back from 2-0 down to earn a point on Wearside.

Billy Kee fired Stanely in front from the penalty spot on the half-hour mark before Paul Smyth doubled their advantage seven minutes into the second half.

But two goals – from George Honeyman and Aiden McGeady - in seven minutes turned the game on its head to earn the Lads a share of the spoils.
