Phil Parkinson and his staff have been working hard at the Academy of Light this week as Sunderland look to issue a response at Gillingham on Saturday.
Charlie Wyke and Marc McNulty were back in training, although it remains to be seen whether or not they will be fit enough to make the trip to Priestfield Stadium.
