Jack Ross was buzzing with delight as 10-man Sunderland took three points off Bradford City this afternoon.

Josh Maja touched home Lee Cattermole’s strike with 21 played before Anthony O’Connor levelled up shortly after the midway interval as the Black Cats failed to clear their lines.

But less than a minute later and the Lads were in front again, Jack Baldwin with it as he stabbed home his first for the club to send the travelling 3,000 into pandemonium in the stands.

The game wasn’t over, though, as Max Power then saw red with the double punishment being that City were awarded a penalty.

Jack Payne stepped up but Jon McLaughlin saved as the Lads held out to secure a priceless three points in West Yorkshire.
