Russia 2018: Duo heading to World Cup

Bryan Oviedo and Wahbi Khazri are heading to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Oviedo, 28, is expected to play a big part for Costa Rica as they take on Switzerland, Serbia and pre-tournament favourites Brazil.

The left-back will feature in the competition for the first time, having been forced to miss out in 2014 after suffering a broken tibia and fibula earlier that season.

Khazri, meanwhile, heads to Russia in a rich vein of form and Tunisia’s hopes of reaching the knockout stages hinge heavily on the winger’s performances.

During a season-long loan with Rennes, the 27-year-old has scored 12 goals in 36 Ligue 1 games while also contributing two assists.

And he’ll have to be at his best if Tunisia are to get the better of Belgium, England and Panama.
