safc.com caught up with USA international Lynden Gooch to find out the latest on his injury which kept him sidelined for the final few matches of the season.
Gooch, an academy product at Sunderland, also reflected on a frustrating season for the club while admitting the disappointment drives him on even more to turn things around in the next campaign.
