Bryan Oviedo and Paddy McNair both completed 90 minutes in San Jose, as Costa Rica breezed past Northern Ireland on Sunday.
Johan Vegas opened the scoring and Joel Campbell doubled their lead following the restart, with a Francisco Calvo sealing the victory.
World Cup-bound, Costa Rica were inspired by Arsenal forward Campbell who was a constant thorn in Northern Ireland’s side.
A composed finish a minute into the second half was followed by a pinpoint corner, as substitute Calvo rounded off an impressive win.
Oviedo, and fellow full-back Cristain Gamboa, also impressed, and they’ll be looking to continue their form on Thursday night when Costa Rica face England at Elland Road.
