Two Sunderland players will be flying the red and white flag at the 2018 World Cup in Russia this summer.
Bryan Oviedo has been selected by Costa Rica, while Wahbi Khazri, who spent the 2017-18 season on loan in Ligue 1 with Rennes, has been called up by Tunisia.
Both players will play in the prestigious tournament for the first time, with Tunisia making their first appearance since 2006, and Oviedo in contention after missing the 2014 edition due to injury.
But the Sunderland duo will both have to upset the odds to emerge from the group stages, with Oviedo set to take on Brazil, Switzerland and Serbia, as Khazri battles against Belgium, England and Panama.
