Back in September 2009, Darren Bent was at the double at the Stadium of Light as Sunderland cruised past Hull City to clinch a 4-1 win.
Bent’s penalty opened the scoring before Kamil Zayatte’s header levelled things up, but Andy Reid restored the Black Cats’ lead following the restart.
Bent added his second after the hour mark and a Zayette own goal completed the scoring, on a day to remember at the SoL.
