Watch: Black Cats visit Salvation Army

Billy Jones and Ethan Robson joined Kevin Ball on a visit to The Salvation Army's Swan Lodge Lifehouse in Sunderland earlier this week.

The club have donated kit to the Lifehouse's football team, who are taking part in a national Salvation Army five-a-side tournament in Manchester in the autumn.

Swan Lodge provides accommodation and tailored support to people experiencing homelessness.

The facility focuses on improved health and emotional well-being, improved quality of life, choice and control, making a positive contribution, freedom from discrimination, economic wellbeing and personal dignity.

Billy, Ethan and Kevin enjoyed a Q&A session and spent time with the residents, before moving on to Goals Sunderland to watch one of the weekly football sessions.

The visit followed on from the club's donation of food to the Lifehouse following the Birmingham game just before Christmas.
