Jack Ross praised the character of his team to come from behind and defeat Bristol Rovers this afternoon.
Alex Rodman handed the visitors an early lead on Wearside, but the Lads rallied back before the break when Adam Matthews turned in Aiden McGeady’s parried strike.
McGeady was at it again in the second 45, this time playing a perfectly-weighted ball through to Josh Maja who slotted home his 13th of the season.
