Team news: Three changes, Mumba starts on the bench

Chris Coleman has made three changes to his starting line-up for tonight’s match with Fulham.

Ethan Robson comes into midfield in replace of Lee Cattermole, who misses out with a knee injury, while Ovie Ejaria and Joel Asoro also come in for Aiden McGeady and Callum McManaman.

Jason Steele retains his place between the sticks while the back four remains the same as last weekend as John O’Shea partners Lamine Kone in the heart of Sunderland’s defence.

16-year-old Bali Mumba features on the bench for the first time and should he come on then he will become the first Sunderland player born in this millennium to play for the lads.

Sunderland: Steele, Jones, O’Shea, Kone, Wilson, McNair, Honeyman, Robson, Ejaria, Asoro, Fletcher
Subs: Camp, LuaLua, McManaman, Matthews, Clarke-Salter, Maja, Mumba
