After nine months on the sidelines with injury Duncan Watmore made his long-awaited return to action as Sunderland picked up a point against Preston North End.
The Roadrunner was named on the bench by Simon Grayson and made an immediate impact after coming on as a second half sub.
Watmore came on just after the hour mark and was instantly in the thick of the action with a number of decisions going against him as he proved to be quite a task for the North End backline.
