Billy Jones is thoroughly looking forward to October’s Fan Fest event.
The right-back was part of the squad that trained in front of the fans at the Stadium of Light earlier this year, with over 9,000 supporters flocking to the SoL to catch a glimpse of the Black Cats.
And October’s Fan Fest is set to be even better, with a range of activities for all ages, as well as signing sessions, also taking place alongside much more.
“It was amazing that day,” said Jones when reflecting on the last event.
“I remember turning up not really knowing what to expect – even though we know what a great fan base we have – but it was really highlighted that day with over 9,000 fans turning up.”
He added: “I’ve never had anywhere near that at any club and we appreciated that.
“Speaking to the guys and the team here, I think they’re making more of an effort to put even more on and it should be a great family day.”
Fan Fest is completely free to attend and fans are asked to register their interest via the online form.
