Simon Grayson has made two changes ahead of today’s game against Bristol City (KO 3pm).
Darron Gibson and Jonny Williams both start at the Stadium of Light as Lee Cattermole and George Honeyman drop to the bench.
As they did at Brentford, Duncan Watmore and Lewis Grabban will lead the charge in the final third with Aiden McGeady also named in the starting XI.
Callum McManaman has, as expected, overcome a knock and he starts on the bench alongside Paddy McNair who returns to the first-team squad for the first time since November 2016.
