Caretaker boss Robbie Stockdale has provided an injury update after a trio of Sunderland players were forced to leave the field at the Stadium of Light today.
Jonny Williams and Duncan Watmore were forced off in the first period as Millwall came from behind to lead at the break.
Adam Matthews levelled things up early in the second 45 before Marc Wilson picked up an injury late on as Sunderland searched for a winner.
Speaking to safc.com, Stockdale provided the latest on the trio.
“We will get them assessed,” he said.
“Duncan was keen to stay on but it was taken out of his hands in the end and the second time he went back on the ball never went out of play I was just telling him to sit down.
“It wasn’t worth going on,” he continued.
“He will get assessed and so will Jonny and Marc and we will see who we have got left for Tuesday."
