AFCON preview: Ndong back in action

Didier Ndong and Gabon will be hoping to earn their first win at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations when they take on Burkina Faso on Wednesday (KO 4pm).

The hosts stuttered out of the blocks on Sunday conceding late on against Guinea-Bissau, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s opener cancelled out in added time.

Ndong, 23, completed 90 minutes and he’s once again likely to play a key role, but Gabon face another tough game with Burkina Faso holding Cameroon to a 1-1 stalemate in their Group A opener.

Dafabet make the hosts favourites, though, with odds of 11/10 available via their website.

Burkina Faso are priced at 11/4 with odds set at 2/1 for the draw.
