Sunderland Ladies return to Eppleton on Saturday as they face league leaders Liverpool in the FA Women’s Championship (KO 7pm).
The Lasses will be looking for their fourth league win of the season after they earned a point on the road against Watford last week, as the Merseysiders visit under the lights in DH5.
Mel Reay has confirmed that Abbey Joice has recovered from illness and will be available for Saturday’s game, and Maria Farrugia will also feature after being out through injury.
The large majority of Reay’s squad remain at her disposal ready for the challenge.
Liverpool Ladies moved to the top of the league last weekend after beating Durham Women away from home, with 20 points from nine games and only conceding four goals, the best record in the division.
The Merseyside team haven’t conceded a league goal in their last five games, winning four of those 2-0 and were held to a 0-0 draw in their other game at home against Blackburn.
Striker Leanne Kiernan is the leading scorer in the division with six goals from four games so far.
