Match Preview: Ladies set for Fylde test

Sunderland Ladies are back in action tomorrow when they take on Fylde Ladies in the FA Women’s National League (KO 2pm).

The Black Cats are looking to bounce back from last week’s disappointing 3-0 defeat to Huddersfield Town when the Coasters travel to the Academy of Light.

So far this season, Melanie Reay’s side have registered one win from their first four outings in a difficult start, with their one victory over Middlesbrough at the Stadium of Light leaving them 10th in the table.

A win tomorrow though, could take Sunderland up to sixth depending on results elsewhere.

The outing will provide the Lasses with another tough fixture, with Fylde currently sitting top of the table on 10 points.

Since the start of the campaign, tomorrow’s visitors have registered wins against Middlesbrough, Burnley and Hull after an opening day draw with Huddersfield Town.

Supporters are reminded that the fixture is strictly behind closed doors, but there will be comprehensive coverage on Twitter via @SAFCLadies.
