Sunderland AFC is delighted to announce a new multi-year partnership with TrainMyAthlete to serve as its dedicated athlete management software.
In addition to supporting the day-to-day health of players and performance data analysis, the software will allow the Club to collect, centralise and visualise all the data sets being gathered.
This will enhance the decision-making capabilities of our SAFC’s Performance and Medicine domain and be utilised across the First Team, Academy and SAFC Women.
SAFC’s Head of Data & Analysis, James Young, said: “We are always looking to find the best technologies to support all domains within the Club and TrainMyAthlete is a stellar addition. The software will provide exceptional capability to the Performance and Medicine domain, whilst integrating seamlessly with our other third-party platforms.”
Liam Hayes, CEO of TrainMyAthlete, added: “We’re incredibly proud to be working with Sunderland AFC to support a Club-wide infrastructure for managing athlete health and performance data. The partnership includes bespoke developments to ensure the backroom team have the tools they need to assess performance, fitness and injury risk of each player across the Club."
