The Stadium of Light will reopen its doors next weekend with the launch of the Riverview Restaurant.
Located in the West Stand’s Riverview Brasserie, the new restaurant will be open Friday to Sunday, serving delicious food with a stunning view every weekend.
Bookings are now available for opening on Friday 23 October for lunch or dinner service, with an extensive menu, developed by our professionally trained chefs, available to ensure all tastes are catered for.
British favourites include beer battered haddock with chunky chips and our mouth-watering steak and ale pie with puff pastry, with a range of international dishes also on offer such as teriyaki salmon with pak choi and bean sprout noodles.
Head Chef Mark Brennan said: “We’re delighted to be able to officially launch the restaurant and re-open our fantastic stadium to the public. We share our supporters’ frustrations that they have been unable to visit their spiritual home since March and that has been one of the big driving forces in getting the restaurant open. With quality food, first-class service and an incredible backdrop, I have no doubt guests will have a very enjoyable dining experience and we can’t wait to start welcoming them back next week.”

Fans are advised that the restaurant will not be open for lunch on home matchdays, and will instead open at 5.30pm.
