Sunderland AFC would like to advise supporters of a potential alteration to the club’s upcoming fixture against Tranmere Rovers.
The Lads are due to travel to Prenton Park on Tuesday 28 January, but this is subject to change due to Rovers’ involvement in the Emirates FA Cup.
Should Micky Mellon’s side progress following their replay against Watford, their fourth-round tie would take place on Sunday 26 January.
As a result, the Black Cats’ meeting with the Merseyside club could take place 24 hours later on Wednesday 29 January (KO 7.45pm).
Tranmere’s replay with Watford will take place on Thursday 23 January, and a further update regarding SAFC’s fixture at Prenton Park will be available once the result is determined.
