Scores of local businesses enjoyed an evening of hospitality at the Academy of Light at the latest SAFC In Business event.
A drinks reception in the Black Cats’ training headquarters was followed up by a showcase game from some of the budding academy stars.
Executive director Charlie Methven welcomed everybody and gave a business update, before a special presentation from academy manager Paul Reid.
Guests were then given a peek behind the scenes with a tour of the facilities and finished up with a meal in the players’ refectory, served by our Netflix star chefs Patrick and Joyce.
In Business aims to reconnect Sunderland AFC with the local business community, alongside supporting businesses achieve their own objectives.
