Last bidding: Poppy shirt auction

Supporters have until 3pm on Wednesday to bid on shirts worn by the players in Sunderland's dedicated remembrance game v Southend United. 

The Lads wore wear poppies on their shirts for the game and they're now available to bid on through a special online auction.

All poppy shirts will be personally signed by the relevant player after the match and will be offered unwashed – so all grass and mud stains are still in there.

Scorer Luke O'Nien's shirt is proving the most popular with bidding at over £1,000 already.

The auction closes four days after kick-off, on Wednesday at 3pm. All bids made are inclusive of worldwide secured shipping and payment handling fees – so no hidden costs, with all proceeds going to The Royal British Legion’s vital work supporting the Armed Forces Community.
