EFL: Key Dates for 2019-20

Sunderland’s 2019-20 schedule will be revealed on Thursday 20 June at 9am.

Always a key date in the calendar for supporters up and down the country, fixture release day marks the start of the new campaign, as clubs and fans can start planning the year ahead.

The first weekend of August is set to host the opening round of EFL fixtures, with 3 August the date set for the first set of traditional Saturday games.

Round one of the Carabao Cup will take place week commencing 12 August, with the Checkatrade Trophy kicking off week commencing 2 September.

The 2019-20 League One season will end on Sunday 24 May, as the final promotion spot is confirmed in the Play-Off Final at Wembley Stadium.

Sunderland’s fixtures will be available via safc.com at 9am on Thursday 20 June, but for now, here are the key dates for your diaries…
