Today marks 33 years since the devastating fire at Bradford City’s Valley Parade ground, in which 56 football fans died and many more were injured.
Flags at the Stadium of Light will fly at half-mast today and the thoughts of everyone at Sunderland AFC will be with our friends and colleagues at Bradford City Football Club, Lincoln City FC, and everyone affected by the tragic events.
They will never be forgotten. #RIP56
