At 9am tomorrow morning the 2018-19 Sky Bet League One fixtures will be released – and you can be the first to find out who Sunderland face and when by visiting safc.com.
The Black Cats enter the competition for only the second time in their 139-year history, after previously competiting in the old Division Three during the 1987-88 Season.
The EFL campaign will begin on Saturday 4 August and conclude on Saturday 4 May 2019, with the Sky Bet League One play-off final scheduled to take place on Sunday 26 May 2019.
Jack Ross’ side will face the likes of Portsmouth, Bradford City and Charlton Athletic over the coming months, while they will also play Accrington Stanley for the first time in over 100 years.
The lads will also take on Fleetwood Town and AFC Wimbledon for the first time in their history.

- The opening day fixtures for the new campaign will get underway on Saturday 4 August 2018.
- The First Round of the Carabao Cup will be played the week commencing Monday 13 August 2018.
- The Checkatrade Trophy gets underway during the week commencing the Monday 3 September 2018.
- The Emirates FA Cup First Round will be scheduled for the weekend of 10 November 2018.The final day of the season will take place on 4 May 2019.
