The big seat change at the Stadium of Light got underway this morning in the South East corner.
Having been oversubscribed with the amount of supporters wishing to lend a hand, fans got to work just after 8am this morning before the second group took over at lunchtime for their four-hour shift.
Making light work of the challenge in hand, the groups made good progress and at the end of day one their efforts have meant we're on course to complete the first batch of the seat change.
