Bradley Lowery Foundation: Gala ball to take place later this month

The Bradley Lowery Foundation will hold its first Gala Ball later this month.

The showpiece event will take place at the Gateshead Hilton on Sunday 18th February, starting at 6.30pm.

Proceeds will be split equally between the Bradley Lowery Foundation and the For Bradley campaign.

Comedian Carl Hutchinson, X Factor singer Che Chesterman and band Hip Operation are set to appear at the event.

Bradley, a huge Sunderland fan, passed away last July aged just six after a brave battle with neuroblastoma.

His fight touched the hearts of the football world and beyond.

Gemma Lowery said: “It is still very overwhelming to see just how much support we have. Bradley will be so proud of us all for carrying on the great work he started.

“We have some big names attending the Gala Ball and I know people will enjoy all of the entertainment we are putting on for them.

“Representatives of Sunderland AFC, Newcastle United, Middlesbrough and Everton will be joining us, and the support we continue to receive is truly humbling.”

In late 2017, Sunderland AFC and the Bradley Lowery Foundation launched the For Bradley campaign, which aims to build a holiday home for sick children and their families.

All monies from the sale of the limited edition Bradley’s Shirt will go towards the project. Find out more about the For Bradley campaign at www.forbradley.co.uk.

The club have also donated some one-off money-can’t-buy prizes which will be auctioned off at the event.

Tickets for the Gala Ball can be purchased by emailing contact@bradleyloweryfoundation.com and are priced at £1,000 per table of 10, or £100 per person.
