Dream come true: Lake Poets entertain Boxing Day crowd

It was a dream come true for Martin Longstaff from The Lake Poets as he sang his hit 'Shipyards' at the Stadium of Light.

As if the Boxing Day clash couldn't have got any bigger with its record attendance, half time entertainment was provided by The Lake Poets.

In the centre of the pitch Martin belted out his hit song, which is the theme tune in Fulwell73's 'Sunderland 'Til I Die',and was greeted with rapturous applause by the bumper SoL crowd.

With a tear in his eye the lifelong Sunderland fan took a bow before saluting the crowd with his red and white scarf.
