Scores of local businesses attended the very successful launch of Sunderland AFC’s Business Club at the Stadium of Light on Thursday night.
Directors Tony Davison and Charlie Methven gave an informal presentation about the new initiative and outlined their vision for the future and how they want to move the club forward.
Within minutes of the final slide dozens of organisations were keen to get involved, signing up there and then for an annual membership.
The Business Club aims to reconnect Sunderland AFC with the local business community, alongside supporting them with their own objectives.
Six meetings will take place where everyone can get together, with a host of other benefits included.
An annual membership is priced at £1,000+ VAT which can be paid in full or can be spread across 12 monthly instalments (£90+VAT).
