One lucky Sunderland fan still has the chance to represent the red and white army in this season’s Emirates FA Cup.
Gaming fans and players from across the globe are invited to compete for glory at Wembley Stadium connected by EE in the return of The Emirates FA Cup gaming tournament, Every Gamer’s Adventure.
The one-day e-sports tournament replicates the format of the real Emirates FA Cup, with one player selected at random to represent each club from this year’s third round onwards.
Early rounds will take place in iconic locations inside the stadium such as the Royal Box, the changing rooms and the players’ tunnel. Gamers of all abilities will descend upon Wembley Stadium as the home of football transforms into an epic gaming colosseum.
The victor will receive a VIP experience at The Emirates FA Cup Final in May, as well as the prestige of being the Every Gamer's Adventure champion.
Applications are now open and will close on 10 March, with those selected in the ballot notified by 24 March.
