Travel update: Boro coaches full

Supporters are advised that the free buses provided by Sunderland AFC to and from Middlesbrough for tomorrow night’s game are now full.

Supporters who have not secured a seat on the buses must make alternative arrangements for their journey to and from the Riverside Stadium.

The club reminds fans that they must retain their coach pass in order to board the buses from the Riverside back to the Stadium of Light at the end of the game. Supporters without passes will not be permitted to travel.

Bar 10 in the east stand of the Stadium of Light will be open from 4pm tomorrow afternoon, serving pies, pasties and beer. The coaches will begin boarding from the green car park outside the ticket office at 5pm and will depart for Middlesbrough at 5.30pm.

On arrival at the Riverside Stadium, Sunderland supporters will be guided directly to the away turnstiles, which will be open from 6.30pm. Full concourse facilities, including alcohol service, will be available at the Riverside.
